End of school year gift: An apple for the teacher

Above: An SEF Red Apple for the teacher this year means supporting innovative teacher run programs for next year.

As the end of school approaches you often hear parents asking each other, “What are you giving the teachers”?

One popular choice from the Southborough Education Foundation. And starting this year, the gift can be made online! And if you make your gift by June 17th, the reciptient(s) will receive a certificate by the end of the school year.

An Apple for the Teacher
Southborough Education Foundation is holding it’s semi-annual fundraising drive: Red Apple Awards.

A donation to SEF can be made in the name of any teacher or staff member of the Southborough public schools or Algonquin Regional High School.

Money raised is used to fund grants for special school programs and resources.

The Red Apple Award program enables you to show your appreciation for a child’s special teacher or staff member by donating to the Southborough Educational Foundation. When you give a Red Apple Award,

  • You will have made a tax-deductible contribution, and
  • You will be supporting innovative educational programs for your child.

Each recipient of a Red Apple Award receives a certificate that includes your child’s name (but will not include the dollar amount of the gift). Your contribution can honor more than one teacher or staff member.

Click on the flyer right for more details about the Red Apple. Or click here to pledge your teacher dedicated gift. Remember, Friday, June 17th is the deadline for this year’s Red Apple certificates. (Though, of course, SEF accepts donation any time of year!)
