Events this week: Drop-in-Crafts, PJ storytime, and Frisbee show

Tuesday, July 12, 2016

  • Boating for Seniors (10:00 – 11:00 am) @ Hopkinton State Park: A group of up to 8 people can utilize the Senior Center’s boating pass to use Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, rowboats, and/or pedal boats. Sign up required. See dedicated post for details.
  • Advanced Tai Chi Class (10:15 – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Library Main Floor: Fellow experienced Tai Chi participants are welcome to come check it out.
  • Drop-in Crafts for kids (10:30 am – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: Children are invited to stop by the library to make a craft project to take home.

  • Senior Center’s Summer BBQ (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Annual celebration for senior center staff, volunteers, and resident seniors. This event requires advance registration and fills up quickly (and may already be full). See dedicated post for details.
  • Frisbee Show (2:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Todd Brodeur will be at the library with his World Class Frisbee Show! The Frisbee throwing champ captivates kids with his tricks, catches and combinations. (Stay tuned for post later today with more details.)

  • Pajama Story Time (7:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Come to the library in your pajamas to hear stories! This event will be held outside on the lawn, weather permitting, so bring a blanket. (In inclement weather, it will be held in the Children’s Room.) All welcome and no registration is necessary.
