Tomorrow (Saturday, October 15th), is Homecoming for Aztec teams at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School. They are using the festivities as a welcome for prospective students.

If you are somehow not familiar, Assabet is the public vocational/technical school that covers our district.

Anyone who participates in tomorrow’s Open House will get a free ticket to their big football game. Here are the details:

For those who would like to visit their local technical high school, Assabet is hosting an Open House in conjunction with Homecoming on Saturday, October 15th, from 10 am until 2 pm. Staff will be on hand to answer questions, students can give tours, and the technical programs will be open to the public.

“It’s a great chance to come by, see why we’re different, and see how we offer the best of both worlds, with students earning not just a diploma, but also a Certificate of Proficiency in their technical program. With 17 different technical choices, plus Honors and Advanced Placement academic classes, our students are prepared to excel in college and career pathways. Come see for yourself,” encouraged Mark Hollick, Principal.

There will be a variety of Homecoming sporting events, with the culmination being the football game at 2 pm. Open House visitors will receive a free ticket to the game. The concession stand will be open as well as the School Store.

AVRTHS is located at 215 Fitchburg Street, Marlborough.
