Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School is holding a special Exhibit/Admissions night next week. Prospective students (especially 8th graders) and their families are welcome to explore the school. They’ll get a chance to see “programs in action” and talk to faculty.

The open house is from 6:00 – 8:30 pm on Wednesday, December 7th. Admissions Information Sessions will be held in the auditorium at 6:00 and 7:00 pm. There’s even an Apply Now booth to assist those filling out an application right on the spot.

School administrators see it as a great chance to experience the spirit of the school. Principal Mark Hollick promoted:

We really enjoy having an opportunity to showcase our 17 technical programs and the amazing work that our students do on a daily basis. . .

We hope that people will give us a chance, and come see why we’re unique in our delivery. I believe we have the perfect blend of academics and technical education that can prepare our students for both college and career, encompassing all the soft skills that 21st century employers are demanding.

The evening’s program includes planned demonstrations and tours guided by staff and students. But guests are also free to wander and visit all the programs at their leisure.

Entertainment will include the band, Junior ROTC and demos of team AZTECHS 157’s robot.

The school is located at 215 Fitchburg Street, Marlborough. For more details, contact the Admissions office at 508-485-9430, ext. 1250.
