Obituary: Priscilla A.”Penny” (Meade) Flot, 86

Priscilla A.”Penny” (Meade) Flot, 86, of Westborough and formerly a long time resident of Southborough died on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Rose Monahan Hospice House in Worcester after an illness.

She was the beloved wife of the late Roland P. Flot for the past 63, who passed away last July.

Penny met her husband while working for Raytheon and after they married they moved to Southborough and raise their children. Priscilla worked for many years at the Yankee Gift Shop in Marlborough . She loved being a homemaker as she was very caring and always put others before herself. Penny enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adeline Singers and volunteering for St Matthew Church of Southborough where she was a member. 

She recently moved to the Highlands in Westborough and met many new friends and had a wonderful time participating in their many activities. Penny’s joyous and fun loving personality took her through the good and bad times of life and she will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Michael and his wife Rosalie of SC; Robert and his wife Debra of MA; Linda Krakowski and her husband Ben; Jennifer Surabian and her husband Edwin all of AZ; Stephanie Doyle and her husband Stewart of MA; a brother Warren Meade of MA; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 10 from 9 to 11AM at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough. A funeral home service will follow at 11:15 AM.
