Algonquin has been all abuzz (or atweet) about athletic achievements of T-Hawks over the weekend.

On Friday, Boys Hockey assured its seat in the playoffs this year. They beat Westborough 6-1 to win the Matt Bruce Cup. They are also back on top of their league.
Earlier in the week, Boys Basketball reclaimed status as league leaders. They held the top rank with their Friday win at Wachusett, 71-61. It marks three wins in a row, bringing their record to 10-6.
On Saturday, Wrestling won its second straight Sectional Championship. And three of their Captains were weight class champs.
Gymnastics came in 2nd place at the Mid-Wach League Championship.
Girls Swim came in 12th out of 40 in the Central MA Sectional Championships. It looks like Boys Swim was cancelled by Sunday’s weather. Both teams are scheduled for the State Championships this weekend.
Indoor Track competed at Division 1 Central MA Championships. This weekend, runners also head to the state championships.
