- SEF Spelling Bee (7:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School: The bee is held by Southborough Education Foundation as an annual fundraiser. Doors open at 6:00 pm for the raffle and silent auction. The actual bee begins at 7:00 pm with the end time depending on how long the spellers last. Attendance is $5-$6 per person. For details, see dedicated post.

- Special Olympics’ Polar Plunge (9:00 am registration, 11:00 am plunge) @ Special Olympics MA Headquarters, 512 Forest Street, Marlborough: Southborough students are among the participants for today’s frigid fundraiser. For more details, see dedicated post.
- Special Olympics’ Noche Mexicina fundraiser (11:30 am – midnight) @ Margarita’s, Northborough Crossing: Anyone who shows up with a Noche Mexicana flyer will have 20% of their bill donated to the the charity. (Which is why participants in the Polar Plunge are holding their Post Plunge Party there.) For more details, see dedicated post.
- Animals in Art (2:00 – 3:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: The Museum of Fine Arts is bringing this workshop to the library for children ages 3-6 years old. Registration is required and space is limited. For details, see dedicated post.
- Ancient Egypt (3:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: The Museum of Fine Arts is bringing this workshop to the library for children ages 8-12 years old. Registration is required and space is limited. For details, see dedicated post.

- Boy Scout’s Pancake Breakfast (8:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ Neary School cafeteria: Troop 1 Boy Scouts 48th annual fundraiser. The menu also includes sausage, ham, and beverages. Tickets cost $6 for adults, $3 for seniors and kids 6-12, and children 5 and under eat for free. For details, see dedicated post.
- Special Olympics’ Juniors/Player Development Basketball Tournament (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) @ Fay School & St. Mark’s School: State tournament playing out at the two schools today. For more details, see dedicated post.
