  • Senior Holiday Cookie Swap (1:00 – 2:00 pm) @ The Southborough Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Rd: Please bring 3 dozen cookies along with your recipe by 10:00 am if possible or whenever you can between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm for set up purposes. For more details, see dedicated post.

  • Senior Movie Matinee (12:00 – 2:30 pm) @ The Southborough Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Rd: Free screening of Christmas Vacation. The room will be open at 11:15 am if you would like to bring your lunch or buy it from the Café. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • Trottier Concert (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School, 49 Parkerville Rd: Concert performed by Trottier’s 7th & 8th Grade Band, 6th Grade Band, Orchestra, Stage Band and Big Band (Note: This is not a “holiday concert”.)

  • Blue Christmas service (7:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church: A community wide service that focuses on the coming of Emmanuel into our world. This quiet service of prayers, readings and candles allows a chance to find solace as we enter the Twelve Days of Christmas. Open to all. For details, see dedicated post.
  • ARHS Holiday Festival (7:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School: Holiday music performed by all of Algonquin’s Choral groups and Orchestra. For more details, see dedicated post.

  • Southborough Schools Early Release (12:00 am): Kicking off Winter Break. (Public School out of session until Tuesday, January 2nd.)
  • Derek Curtis concert (8:00 – 9:30 pm) @ Knights of Columbus hall: Southborough native Derek Johnson (under his stage name Derek Curtis), will be playing songs from his new album and sharing stories in the “intimate listening room”. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • ARHS Winter Ball (7:00 – 10:00 pm) @ Mechanics Hall, Worcester: Algonquin’s Winter Ball – open for all grades. Students must be inside by 8:00 and stay until 10:00 pm. See Student Council for more information and to purchase tickets.
