Truck Day at the Southborough Library – August 2

For kids who love trucks, what’s better than playing with some Tonkas? Exploring and climbing giant trucks, of course.

The Southborough Library is hosting another Truck Day next week.

On Thursday, August 2nd, the Southborough Fire Department and Department of Public Works will swing by the library parking lot to show off their vehicles.

The event starts at 10:30 am. Get there close to the start. Despite the name, it will only last an hour or so. (They are after all the Town’s working trucks. So we can’t tie them up all day!)

Afterwards, you can drop in the children’s room to check out one of their many kids books about trucks. (Their Richard Scarry’s Cars and Trucks and Things That Go is one of my favorite picture books on the subject. But their are so many other great ones to read.)

All children are welcome to attend. No registration necessary. (Click thumbnails below to check out pics from past years.)
