  • Neary School Art Quest  (Senior Center Program) (8:45 – 9:45 am) @ Neary School: The school is seeking intergenerational volunteers through the Senior Center. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Neary Art Stroll (Senior Center Program) (10:30 am) @ Neary School: Come and take a stroll through the halls of the Neary School with their Art Teacher along with the students to view and listen to the explanations of many art projects on display. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Southboro Wellness: Restorative Sleep Workshop with Jill Vroman (12:15 pm) @ Southborough Wellness, 205 Turnpike Rd: Part of the store’s free monthly workshop series. Registration is not required. For details see Facebook event.
  • MassHealth Seminar (Senior Center Program) (1:00 – 2:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Presentation on “Using Annuities and Pooled Trusts To Qualify for MassHealth”. Refreshments sponsored by Mirick O’Connell. For details, see flyer.
  • Competitive Gingerbread Houses (5:00 – 7:15 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Contest for Ages 12 & Up, registration required and the program is filled. But there is a wait list and you can always come out to see the Rotary Club award the top 3 winners at 7:00 pm. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Assabet Showcase (6:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, 215 Fitchburg St, Marlborough: Showcase for prospective future students. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Woodward Principal’s Coffee (9:30 am) @ Woodward School cafeteria: This session of the Woodward Principal’s Coffee for parents will focus on Science. Join Mr. Mucci, and teachers Alison Garand (3rd grade) and Lisa Goulet (2nd grade) to learn about: new Mass science standards; STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), Carolina Building Blocks, and Engineering is Elementary. The new science lab will also be open for viewing.

  • Drop in Crafts (10:30 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Create a winter scene. These projects are geared for children ages 5 to 9-years old, with siblings are welcome. Sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library.
  • Chess program at Library (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: This program is geared toward players ages 12+ who are interested in learning beginner chess skills. For details, see dedicated post.
  • TSOYBER! (Magic!) (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ Congregation B’nai Shalom, 117 E Main St, Westborough: An evening of international musical gems with roots entwined in Jewish life. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Handel’s Messiah (3:30 pm) @ Pilgrim Congregational Church, 15 Common Street: The Messiah Community Chorus presents Handel’s Messiah Come ring in the holiday season with this concert event with chorus, orchestra and soloists. A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Southborough Food Pantry. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Lessons and Carols (4:00 pm) @ Belmont Chapel, St. Mark’s School: The public is invited to attend the annual Service of Nine Lessons and Carols for Christmas. Follow signs to visitor parking. All are welcome! For details, see dedicated post.
