Flags in Southborough and across are flying at half staff until sunset today, Friday, January 11, 2019, in honor of Army Sergeant First Class Eric Emond, a native of Fall River, Massachusetts, who was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on November 27, 2018.

SFC Emond will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery today. You can read about his legacy here.
