As I posted earlier, the Southborough Library has temporarily closed. Even before that announcement, the Library began encouraging patrons to make use of it’s online options.
Patrons who have a Southborough library card can take advantage of multiple services for streaming content including books, newspapers, movies, and music:

Hoopla: Instantly Borrow Digital Materials
The Southborough Library is pleased to offer its patrons numerous ways to access resources and materials including a new app, hoopla.
Hoopla is a web and mobile library media streaming platform for audio books, comics, e-books, movies, music, and TV and allows library patrons to download or stream media content 24/7. Parents can ensure their child’s account is safely monitored as well.
This services is free with your library card and allows you to instantly borrow materials without the wait and late fees. You can learn more by visiting the hoopla website which can also be accessed on the Research Database page.
News of interest happens everywhere, from small towns to big cities across the United States. America’s News provides access to information on people, issues and events in the local area and around the country. This comprehensive resource offers hundreds of millions of current and archived full-text articles from news sources nationwide in a single, fully searchable database.
America’s News provides patrons with authoritative, staff-written coverage of local and national topics, along with specific articles, obituaries, statistics, quotations, facts, analysis and much more. We are pleased to announce that the Southborough Library now offers the Mango Languages online language-learning system to its patrons.
Mango Languages offers access to 60 foreign language courses and 17 English courses taught completely in the user’s native language. Mango is part of the Reference Databases that the library offers.In addition to language courses, Mango also offers the opportunity to learn through foreign films and access to a variety of specialty mini courses, like Pirate, Medical Spanish and romance courses.Mango can be accessed at the library, remotely, or even on-the-go with apps for iPhone®, Android™, Kindle® and Nook®.

Yes. You can leave a voicemail at 508-485-5031 and you can email rdonovan@southboroughma.com. On Friday, Library Director Ryan Donovan told me that last week they had helped many patrons refresh passwords to access online services.
