Senior Center thanks Falconi and supporters of the virtual golf tournament

Every year, the Falconi family holds a golf tournament to raise funds for the Southborough Senior Center. That wasn’t possible this fall. But it appears that they held a “virtual challenge” in its place.

In addition, the Falconi owned gas station, the Pit Stop on Boston Road, has been donating a portion of gas sales each Tuesday to the center. Recently, Falconi presented the Senior Center with a $7,400 check.

Senior Center Director Pam Lefrancois asked me to share their news and a big thanks:

A huge THANK YOU to all who contributed to this year’s “virtual challenge” in lieu of our annual Falconi Family Memorial Golf tournament to benefit the Southborough Seniors! And while we fell slightly short of our $5,000 goal, we want to especially recognize Jimmy Falconi and Falconi Energy for their generosity for contributing their full $5,000 promise, PLUS an additional $2400 from their Tuesday gas sales!

Buy gas on Tuesdays at The Pit Stop!

A Huge Thank You to Joan Guerrant for keeping this fundraiser for the Friends of the Southborough Council on Aging going.
