I always love sharing when Santa is coming to town. This year, the event is taking a very different format and it got delayed by last weekend’s storm. At this point, organizers are planning to proceed with a socially distanced event on Saturday morning – December 12th.

The Jolly Old Elf is scheduled to cheer in the Christmas season through two drive by events. Starting at 10:00 am, Santa will wave to residents from a fire engine as he is driven around town. This morning, the Southborough Fire Department shared their planned route:

*UPDATE WITH TENTATIVE ROUTE* Everyone ready for Santa’s visit tomorrow?! Santa in his fire truck sled will be driving around the streets of Southborough from 10-11 am tomorrow, December 12th. His tentative route is:
Main Street → East Main Street → Thayer Lane → Maplecrest Drive → Pinecone Lane → Framingham Road → Sears Road → Deerfoot Road → Flagg Road → Strawberry Hill Road → Orchard Road → Red Gate Lane → Blackthorn Drive → Richards Road → Atwood Street → Leonard Drive → Bryden Road → Woodbury Road → Heather Lane → Darlene Drive → Liberty Drive → Constitution Drive

For anyone who misses his visit, there will be an opportunity to wave from the safety of your cars at the Public Safety Building between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

Olaf entertains the line across the streetAs I previously posted, Disney’s Frozen, Elsa, Anna and Olaf plan to join Sanata for the drive thru portion at the station.
