Today, Algonquin is hosting three important home games.

ARHS Girls Volleyball bested Shrewsbury 3-0 in their CMADA Semi Finals on Tuesday. At 6:00 pm this evening, the Girls will challenge Westborough for the Central Mass championship.

Gonk will have the home court advantage. (According to ARHS athletics, tickets to cheer them on are $3 per student/senior and $5 per adult.) But, undefeated Westborough has beat Gonk twice this season. In statewide power rankings posted by the MIAA on Monday, it was ranked #1 for Division 2. Algonquin is ranked 8th in Division 1.

Two outdoor CMADA Semi-finals originally scheduled for Tuesday were postponed. Both soccer teams will play on the ARHS fields today.

Boys Soccer will play Westborough at 4:00 pm. (In MIAA’s Boys Soccer power rankings, ARHS is 11 for Division 1 and Westborough 15 in D2.)

Girls Soccer will play Shrewsbury at 6:00 pm. (ARHS is ranked 7 for MIAA Division 1 Girls Soccer and Shrewsbury 7th.)
