Due to the rise in Covid Cases, the Southborough Senior Center is temporarily closing its doors again for in-person programming.

For now, the closure is scheduled for this week and next.

The intent is to reopen the doors the week of Tuesday, January 18th. However, they also intend to also cancel programs scheduled for Wednesdays through the end of this month.

The decision was not made until after the mailing of the January and February newsletter. That means some programs that were advertised may be cancelled or postponed.

Registration for other programs will open at 10:00 am this Wednesday, January 5th – by phone only. (I’m told they will be taking registration for a CPR program on January 21st, an Herbal Medicine program on January 24th, and all of the programs advertised for February.)

I don’t have a copy of the newsletter listing those programs yet. When I do, I’ll add a link to this post.

Updated (1/3/21 5:53 pm): Here’s the newsletter link as promised.

Updated (1/4/21 8:22 pm): I revised the opening date to Tuesday, January 18th, after realizing that Monday is MLK Jr. Day.
