A house on Sears Road was broken into shortly before 1:00 am on Saturday while the residents were at home. The two intruders fled when they encountered the residents, and managed to elude police, but two other accomplices were captured.

A Middlesex grand jury recently indicted a convicted rapist from Southborough on child pornography charges.

Southborough police say they have no leads in a rash of vehicle break-ins this month and urge residents to take steps to protect their personal property.

Personal items were stolen from unlocked cars in three separate incidents this weekend, the Southborough Police Department reported on their Facebook page. The incidents occurred on Overlook Drive and Upland Road. Items stolen included GPS units, a wallet, and an iPhone charger.

Southside residents reported hearing helicopters overhead yesterday afternoon. Turns out it was news choppers there to cover the story of a 26-year-old Ashland man who was arrested by federal agents who say he plotted to blow up the Pentagon and US Capitol.
