Power restored and then lost again for some Southborough residents – UPDATED

Residents along Parkerville Road south and its side streets were thrilled when their power finally came back yesterday evening after three days in the dark. Southborough K-8 schools OPEN on Wednesday, Algonquin CLOSED

Most Southborough students will head back to school tomorrow, but for others it will be another snow day. Superintendent Charles Gobron said in a message to parents that all K-8 schools in Southborough will open tomorrow – including Finn, Woodward, Neary, and Trottier – but Algonquin will remain closed due to continuing difficult from the weekend storm. Town Administrator: Contact National Grid if you’re still without power

Town Administrator Jean Kitchen said she is hopeful power will be restored to the remaining Southborough residents today. She said the best way to make sure you get your power back is to call National Grid with an outage report, even if you’ve already done so.
