Above: Act quickly to sign up for Rec’s next session of programs covering creative fun and athletic after school activities.
Information has been posted for Southborough Recreation’s first session of this school year’s RAP (Recreation After-School Programs) classes. Since some popular programs can fill up, you’ll want to save the date to sign up starting a week from today.
The early fall session is for K–5 students, but there is also info available for the special Neary and Trottier programs coming up this winter.
[Note: If you’ve never signed your family up for a Rec Program, you’ll need to create an account.]
There are a few offsite programs. For those, Rec will transport kids by van to the class, where parents (or caregivers) need to pick them up at the end. Those are at Sew Studio, Collage Art Studio, and the pottery room in the basement of the South Union Building.
The other programs all take place on-site at the school. (For those, kids in the SEDP extended day program can head there afterwards.)
Prices vary by program, ranging from $60 to $185 for six classes. (Most are over $100.) The session runs the week of September 15th through late October/early November. (End dates vary by day of the week.) Registration will close on September 10th.
