The downtown art studio is promoting another art reception. This Friday’s event will feature a juried show of works submitted in response to a special “Call for Art” the studio announced this summer. The works will celebrate native plants and pollinators.
The community is invited to the opening reception from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 5th.
It will be held at in the gallery at the Apothecary Artists Studio & Gallery, 11 Main Street.
On Facebook, Apothecary Artists posted:
Our first annual juried show begins this Friday! Join us at the studio from 6:30-8:30pm for snacks, beverages, beautiful company & even more beautiful art as we take in the beauty of the world around us.
The exhibit will be on display through October 14th. (While attending the exhibit, you can also check out Apothecary Artists’ “Emporium” gift shop.)
Earlier this summer, the studio called for “Artists of all experience levels and disciplines” to submit pieces for the show “inspired by the beauty and vitality of native plants and native pollinators”. Artists were instructed that the plants/pollinators must be considered native to New England.
