The Southborough Library is bringing back Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens for another gardening workshop this Tuesday. This time the focus is on growing and producing seeds.

A promotion for the “Lifecycle of Seeds” presentation promises to talk about seed starting, which kinds are worth harvesting, and how to sow, harvest and store your seeds.

Life Cycle of Seeds flyerThe talk will take place on the Library’s main floor at 7:00 pm on September 16th. Thanks to funding by The Friends of the Southborough Library, event is free and open to the public, with no registration required.

The presentation by BVVG will also be recorded by Southborough Access Media.

The Library’s website is also promoting related details for gardeners interested in this topic:

If you are interested in more information about seeds and growing your own plants, please visit the Library Seed Exchange area on our website. We still have very limited number of seeds available from the 2025 selection available to take in the Judy Williams Reading Room. For anyone interested in volunteering to help out in the library’s Native Plant Garden, please click here for the volunteer application.
