This fall, Southborough Youth & Family Services is offering a free, weekly after school program for a limited number of 4th & 5th grade Neary School students. “The Game Lab” is described as “A game-based friendship-building group”.
On Thursday afternoons, kids can play a “cooperative games”. The program will run from 3:00 – 4:15 pm at the school. (That means parents/caregivers will have to pick kids up at 4:15, unless they are enrolled in the Southborough Extended Day Program.)
SYFS pitches:
Through teamwork, fun, and friendly competition, participants will practice communication, cooperation, and problem-solving while building confidence and lasting connections.
The program is scheduled to start on October 9th and run until December 11th. (Obviously, it won’t take place on Thanksgiving, November 27th.
