- Southborough Safe Spaces – Youth Meeting (7:00 – 9:00 pm): Event for grades 6-12 hosted by Southborough Safe Spaces for LBGTQ+ youth of all faiths and their allies. Tonight, they’ll have a Makeup Night. For details, click here.

- Yoga on the Trails (9:00 am) @ Sudbury Reservoir Trail: This free event for adults is put on by Southborough Trails Committee for National Parks & Recreation Month. Registration is required. For details, see related post.
- HOSA’s Car Wash (9:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ DPW parking lot (downhill from the Southborough Transfer Station): Algonquin’s chapter of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is holding a car wash to raise funds for club medical equipment.
- AWC Car Wash (10:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ Chet’s Diner, 191 Main St, Northborough: The Algonquin Writing Center is holding a fundraising car wash.

- Finn Fall Festival (12:00 – 3:00pm) @ Finn School: For families of Finn students, the festival features food trucks, games, music, crafts, raffles, and more. (Parents should be on the lookout for messages from the school with more details.)
- What’s the Scoop: Free Ice Cream Social (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Heritage Park: (Rescheduled from Sept 7th.) The Tricentennial Committee will dish out free ice cream (one scoop per attendee), while they promote the committees’ plans and fundraisers. For details, see dedicated post.
- St. Mark’s Messy Church (4:00 – 6:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 27 Main St: A worship experience for busy families of younger kids. Includes a Bible story theme with activities, crafts, and a shared meal. For details, see related post.

- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
- Knitting Club & Quilting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Weekly opportunity for senior crafters to work on their projects in a social setting, including knitting, sewing, cross stitching, needle point. For details, see related post.

- TrailBlazers meeting (3:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: The group for active seniors holds a monthly meeting to plan upcoming activities. Any seniors interested in helping or learning more are welcome to join them. For more details, see related post.
- Virtual Cooking With Ploy (5:30 – 7:30 pm) @ zoom: Part of the Southborough Library’s free virtual cooking lesson series. This month make Vietnamese Street Food. Pre-registration is required. For details, see related post.
- Read to a Dog (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: Children ages 5+ can sign up to read a short book of their choosing to Perla, a certified therapy dog. Please by emailing kivers@southboroughma.com.

- Trottier Middle School Dance (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Trottier Middle School gym: A free “Casual School Appropriate Attire” dance with a DJ for Trottier students only. SOS will sell snacks and drinks for $1 each, cash only. Students should have a ride waiting for them at 8:30 pm. To attend, the permission slip must be submitted by Wednesday, October 1st.

- Drive Thru Flu Clinic (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: This Greater Boroughs free vaccine clinic is for Southborough, Northborough, and Boylston, residents ages 6 months and older. (Although, it won’t include the high dose shots recommended for seniors.) Pre-registration is required. For details, see dedicated post.
- DIY Gulbankian Workshop (1:00 pm) @ Gulbankian Florist, 40 Mt Vickery Rd: There is a registration fee and attendance is limited. This session is to make a Mini Succulent Pumpkin Trio. For details, see related post.
- Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Semi-monthly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.
