Trottier Ski/Snowboard registration opens October 1st

Sign kids up quickly for the limited-space bus that will take kids to Wachusett Mountain this winter

We just officially entered fall last week, so it may seem a bit early to be thinking about skiing and snowboarding. But Southborough Recreation asked me to alert readers that registration for a popular winter program for middle schoolers is opening this Wednesday.

I’m told that the limited space opportunity will “sell out” quickly.

Registration opens on October 1st for the bus that takes Trottier students to and from Wachusett Mountain to ski or snowboard. The program will run on Wednesdays after school from January 7th through February 11th.

The coach bus will depart from Trottier Middle School at 2:25 pm (after school).
Parents should plan for pick up just before 8:00 pm at Trottier Middle School.

The registration, which costs $20, only covers the cost of the bus. Sign up for that here.

There is an additional fee and separate registration for lift tickets or season passes to allow kids to ski/snowboard (plus optional equipment rentals). That will also open on October 1st. (Unfortunately, this year’s pricing details won’t be posted until then.)

Rec noted that parents who are interested in chaperoning the program should check the parent volunteer box during the registration process or contact the Recreation Department at 508-229-4452 or recreation@southboroughma.com.
