This month, and later this fall, the Southborough Library will host more Crafternoon workshops for tweens ages 8+, along with a special crafting session geared for teens – adults, and the popular gingerbread house decorating event open to families.
All of these sessions will be led by returning popular crafter, Mandy Roberge. The events are free, but have limited space with pre-registration required.
Crafternoon: Painting Mini-Pumpkins or Skulls (for tweens & teens)
Wednesday, October 22nd, 4:30 – 5:30 pm
This event is for ages 8+. Paint mini pumpkins or skulls in time for celebrating Halloween or the Day of the Dead. Click here to sign up.
Fabric Pouch Art (for teens & adults)

This event is for ages 12+. “Using fabric of all styles and colors, cut out shapes to make a personalized piece of art that is functional too. Enjoy a new world of crafting possibilities that you can take home to use in your own lives.” Click here to sign up.
Crafternoon: Gnomes (for tweens & teens)
Wednesday, November 5th, 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Create your own desk gnomes (with their own hats) that can keep you company while you do your homework. Use rice, fluff and felt to build your personalized gnome from the ground up! Click here to sign up.
Gingerbread Houses
Wednesday, December 17, 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Gingerbread House Decorating returns to the library! Work on your own or in a group of family or friends to decorate a gingerbread house. Houses and decorating material will be provided. Click here to sign up.
