This weekend, a Southborough church will host a free coffeehouse musical event. This time, the fun, marketed as the debut of “The Deerfoot Coffeehouse” will be hosted by St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
The event will take place this Saturday, October 18th, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm in the Parish Hall at 27 Main Street.
The church promotes performances by “Two talented local professional artists”:
Award-winning singer-songwriter Erin Ash Sullivan, whose most recent album, Signposts and Marks, reached #4 on the international folk charts, will be sharing her repertoire of mostly original songs.
P.E. James, a much in-demand solo acoustic artist from Worcester, will be our other featured act. A crowd-pleasing performer, he was recently profiled in Worcester Magazine.
Attendees can also participate during an open-mic at the event:
providing an opportunity for aspiring performers to sing/play a song. If you or someone you know is interested in stepping up to the mic on October 18, please email Nick Noble at nicknoble@wicn.org.
