Halloween hasn’t arrived and I’m asking you to think about Christmas. But for a chorus to come together takes practice. So, the rehearsals for the annual Messiah Community Chorus’ concert will begin in early November.
Organizers are reaching out for singers to be part of the annual performance of Handel’s Messiah.
This will be the 52nd community performance of the Christmastime concert in Southboroug.1 The group promotes that the 40-50 singers will be accompanied by a full orchestra and soloists.
The concert will take place at Pilgrim Church on Sunday, December 7th at 3:30 pm. (You can find ticket info here.)
The chorus will hold its rehearsals at the church on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, starting November 5th. They’ll take place weekly (except the night before Thanksgiving) through December 3rd.
Plus, there is a mandatory dress rehearsal on Saturday, December 6th from 11:15 am – 1:00 pm.
You can find more participation details here. To ask questions or let them know you plan to join them, you can email singhandel@gmail.com.
