Southborough Youth & Family Services has been with a consultant to study “Community Needs”. Now the agency is pursuing the next step in its efforts to address needs.
They want to share what they’ve learned, including gaps in services the Town provides, and barriers to residents seeking support they need. Their hope is to engage the public in a discussion about how to better address needs.
SYFS invites the community to its “Southborough Community Needs Assessment: Findings & Analysis” presentation a week from Tuesday. It will be held November 4th, 6:30 – 8:00 pm in the Public Safety Training Room, 32 Cordaville Road:
Over the past year, our department facilitated a comprehensive town-wide assessment to better understand the needs of the Southborough community. This process included focus groups, key informant interviews, and a community-wide survey. We are now excited to share the results and discuss how we can work together to strengthen local supports and services. . .
During this presentation, Trendline, our research partner, will highlight key findings including:
- Gaps in town services
- Barriers to support
- Opportunities for growth
We encourage community members, town staff, and local organizations to attend and take part in this important conversation about Southborough’s future.
