As you prepare for spooky creatures and pretty princesses to start ringing the doorbell tonight, I’m sharing some highlights from the Town’s big Trunk or Treat party last weekend.

The weather cooperated for the fun event again this year. Based on the pics sent in and shared on social media, it looks like attendees had a blast.

As usual, the fun kicked off with a parade that led to the Southborough Fire Association’s party with costume contest at the Fire Station.

A big thanks to reader Alissa Tauras for contributing the following photos from the party that include a prize winner and some great family themed getups:

The event is named after the decorated trunks and vehicles that kids trick or treated at in Woodward parking lot. Participating “trunks” and tables included Town departments and volunteers contributing to the community fun. Businesses that added to the joy included the return of Ted’s of Fayville’s haunted tow truck and Middlesex Savings Bank’s special ATM (Automated Treat Machine). And Skyrise Theater created another magical experience for kids. This year, attendees were able to fish for treats “Under the Sea”.
