Every fall, before Thanksgiving, local artisans from Southborough and the surrounding area hold a special shopping event downtown. This year, the Winter Market sale is taking place a week from Sunday.
For the second year, the event will be held at two locations.
The Winter Market will take place on Sunday, November 23rd from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Community House (28 Main Street) and Apothecary Artists (in the 11 Main Street professional building).
As always, admission to the market is free.
The dual spaces means plenty of room for vendors. According to organizers, 39 vendors will be selling their goods. (Based on past years, most but not all, will be hand crafted by artists/artisans.)
In addition, one of the organizers, Chelsea Steele of All Things Sparkley will be holding her mini photo shoot sessions. (To sign up for a slot, click here.)
New this year, there will also be food trucks on site.
I don’t have the list of this year’s vendors and wares. Based on past markets, that could include cozy knitted goods, jewelry/apparel/accessories to wear to holiday parties, lotions to protect skin during the season, holiday decor, wellness items to stay healthy this winter, etc. Plus, obviously, you can also get in some early shopping for holiday gifts (with items like pottery and artwork).
