Holiday giving drives in Southborough

In honor of tomorrow being “Giving Tuesday”, I’m running my annual roundup of holiday collection drives in town. And I’m stressing that the Winter Wishes program still needs donations ASAP to make this year’s goal!

Winter Wishes

Southborough Youth & Family Services is collecting financial donations (or gift cards) to help Southborough families in need through the winter and holiday season. Families will be given gift cards to buy gifts that their children want and need.

Project Just Because

Each year, the Hopkinton based charity seeks to provide holiday gifts for children from one month, up to age 18. Gifts must be new and unwrapped. This year, the charity is promoting the special need for items for kids ages 12+. (You can find their Amazon wish list here.)

The Southborough Fire Association is again collecting gifts for the cause. Their collection box is in the vestibule at the Public Safety Building, 32 Cordaville Road. The deadline is  a week from tomorrow — Tuesday, December 9th.
