Above: Let Town officials know how you feel about services and resources, and what you would like to see prioritized. (image from survey)
The Town is requesting that residents participate in the annual survey.1 Topics cover quality of life, departments and resources, and priorities for what you would like to see officials focus on. The survey allows options both for a quick overview, and for drilling down into more detail on topics you care about.
This year, the survey also seeks feedback on an issue that the Select Board has been concerned about, and sparked debate at this Fall’s Special Town Meeting — possible restructuring of how the town is governed. Plus, it asks for input on improving bureaucratic processes.
After confirming they are residents, participants will see the following survey introduction:
This survey has been put together by various town departments to collect your feedback to improve the town. Thank you for your willingness to provide honest and actionable feedback! Your answers will be shared publicly, in anonymous form, and will be provided to the Select Board and other town departments/boards to help guide improvements.
As it did last year, the survey gives residents’ ability to save time by selecting topics which they wish to skip over. The survey also includes the ability to use fill-in fields to provide specific feedback on departments/topics.
(Those choices are presented on page 2, after participants answer 8 questions.)
That said, the survey isn’t a quick one. Officials hope that residents will set aside a little time each year to provide important feedback on Town departments and leadership.
You can open the survey directly, here.
Updated (12/15/25 12:08 pm): I added info on a new section in this year’s survey. (And along the way had some misfires – with new copies of the story accicentally posting that I deleted.)
