2026 NSBORO Story Bridge

Aspiring storytellers in the NSBORO community are invited to apply to take part in the district's 4th annual program. Participants will learn how to tell their stories for a public showcase.

The Northborough-Southborough Public Schools are seeking NSBORO community members interested in participating in the district’s third annual “Story Bridge”.

A promotion for the program especially encourages Algonquin students to apply. But the application information shows the series is still also open to NSBORO parents, staff, faculty, “and more!”.

Participants must be at least 14 years old. Applicants will be selected to participate in meetings to prepare them to tell stories from their own lives on stage this February.

Following up on past successful efforts, Southborough’s Jennifer De Leon and Adam Stumacher will again lead the initiative.

The authors, parents, and “Story Bridge” facilitators, will guide participants in identifying compelling stories from their lives, writing and shaping them, and practicing telling them aloud.

In an Instagram post, Algonquin promoted the opportunity as a great one for ARHS students:

Story Bridge 2026 Application PromoWant to develop a skill that will help you in college applications, job interviews, and life? Story Bridge is looking for ten Algonquin students to share personal narratives on stage this February.

This program is fun—you’ll work with professional authors Jennifer De Leon and Adam Stumacher in workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions to craft and perform a compelling story from your own life. Plus, the storytelling and writing skills you develop translate directly to college essays and beyond.

The showcase happens February 26, 2026 at Algonquin, with professional production, lighting, and photography.

Apply to be a storyteller – We welcome parents, educators, staff, and community members to share their stories on stage.

This is your chance to share what matters to you, connect with your community, and build skills that will serve you for years to come. We can’t wait to hear your story!

Applications are due by Monday, January 12th.

Participants will work on their stories over the winter, practicing in small groups with supportive feedback. Most meetings will be over zoom, but a couple will be at Algonquin’s Black Box Theater — where the final performance will be held.
