Starting next Wednesday, the Southborough Library will host more monthly Crafternoon workshops for tweens ages 8 – 12 yrs olds.
The sessions are all scheduled for Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 – 5:30 pm on the Library’s main floor. The free programs continue to be led by popular crafter Mandy Roberge (of Wicked Good Henna).
First up this year is a Jar Lanterns workshop on Wednesday, January 14th to help kids add a little light to the dark months of winter.
Participants will use fabric, colorful paper, beads, and/or glass baubles to decorate a mason jar. (An LED tea light will help convert that into a “lantern”.)
Although the session is free, pre-registration is required, and these often fill up. Click here to sign up.
The Library’s website also lists the following events, monthly through the end of the school year:

Suncatchers — March 18th
Use “a variety of sparkly shiny and colorful materials to create a unique art piece that will make any sunny window infinitely more spectacular.” Click here to sign up.
