The Friends of the Southborough Library are promoting our fabulous socks for Love Your Library Month. The fun dress and/or crew socks make great Valentine’s Day gifts for the book lovers in your life.1.
When I promoted the online fundraiser in the fall, I heard from cautious shoppers that wanted to know if they could see a sample pair. (Unfortunately, we didn’t have any at that time.)
Based on feedback, we bought extras to sell at the library. And the reviews are in. I’m told that customers love them. (In the words of one gift recipient, the socks are “like butter”!)
The Friends offer two fun options — snazzy dress socks and sporty crew socks. (The latter comes in sizes for kids and adults.) Each pair costs $15.
Dress Crew Socks: One Size Fits Most — The library’s logo (in royal and sky blue) is scattered across neon pink socks with royal blue cuff, toe and heel caps.
Athletic Crew Socks: Sky Blue socks with royal blue cuff, toe and heel caps. A banded white stripe features the library’s logo on both sides. Text above the toeline invites “READ WITH ME” and the sole promotes “♥ YOUR LIBRARY”.
Size options are:
- Small (youth 11-3)
- Medium (youth 4-9/women’s 5-8.5)
- Large (women’s 9-11/men’s 10-13)
To purchase pairs of socks, swing by the library during their regular hours and ask a staff member for help.
