The Southborough organization “Neighbors For Peace” is hosting a free special dinner at the end of the month, and inviting the community to join them. The “Ramadan Iftar Dinner” will take place the evening of February 28th.

Whether you are familiar with Ramadan traditions or experiencing them for the first time, we invite you to join us for a delicious meal.

Let’s break the fast together with delicious food, great company, and a spirit of togetherness. Whether you’re here to celebrate or just enjoy the vibe, everyone’s invited to share in this special evening. . .

The event will include a brief presentation on the significance of Ramadan by Neighbors for Peace cofounder Safdar Medina.

That will be followed by prayers by Rabbi Rachel Gurevitz (of Congregation B’nai Shalom) and Reverend Charley Eastman (of Pilgrim Church).

It’s not the first time the group has hosted an Iftar Dinner, but it does appear to be the first one promoted since the 4th annual dinner in 2019.

This year’s dinner will be held at Pilgrim Church, 15 Common Street in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, February 28th. Doors will open at 5:00 pm with dinner beginning at sunset (5:35 pm).
