YFCP is putting on another multi-week Young Scientists program at the Southborough Library.
The free STEM program features on “fun-filled” activities to teach Science, Technology, Engineering and Math concepts to 3-6 year olds. It’s a special “enrichment series” program run by STEM Beginnings and funded through the YMCA Family & Community Partnership.
The program is free, but pre-registration is required.
The next session in Southborough will run on Thursdays from 1:15 – 2:00 pm, on Thursdays beginning next week (February 26th) and running through March 26th. (This session is one week shorter than previous 6-week sessions.)
Participants learn STEM concepts “through hands-on activities, story time, challenges and simple experiments”
Parents/caregivers are must attend and “are encouraged to help their child and join in the fun”. Siblings are also welcome but must be supervised.
