On a day like today, it’s hard to imagine that spring is around the corner. But it’s the time of year when many families are preparing for upcoming spring sports.
In a few weeks, boys and girls entering grades 1-8 are invited to get their spring soccer seasons “off to a great start with technical & tactical training”,
The 3-evening soccer clinic s a fundraiser for Algonquin Boys Soccer. It will be run by coaches and players.
Participants will be broken out into training groups by age.
The clinic will be run the evenings of Tuesday, March 10th through Thursday, March 12th, 5:30 – 7:30 pm. The cost is $115/player (t-shirt included).
The clinic is scheduled to be held on the GonkPlex turf field. (Looking out the window, I wonder if that’s enough time for the snow to clear. But they do have the ARHS gym as a backup plan in case of inclement weather.)
