Rec Programs over spring break, half day, and holiday

Reminder — registration opens tonight for spring and summer Recreation programs.

If last week’s school break or this week’s snow days had you at your wit’s end and your kids a bit stir crazy. . . You may want to check out Rec’s handful of special programs on weekdays that kids don’t have school this April (or are released early).

Registration for most of these programs is limited and requires paying a fee. (Scroll down to the bottom for the one exception.)

Half Day After School Program

The elementary schools have two half days in April to allow for parent-teacher conferences. This program is for one of those afternoons, for one of those schools.

Free – No registration required (But RSVP requested for planning)

Members of the Southborough Police Department must have enjoyed their time playing hoops with kids this winter. The SPD is now inviting kids to enjoy a classic outdoor sport this spring.

Kids are invited to take part in “some old-school fun”:

Join us on Good Friday, April 3rd, outside at Woodward School front field for a friendly game of Kickball. Teams will be made on site.

This free, drop-in program is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, connect with friends, and meet some of Southborough’s finest.
