Since Southborough Kindergroup’s Easter Egg Hunt is taking place much further in advance of Easter than usual, I’m reminding readers to mark the date and sign up. While I’m at it, I also want to share news about other Easter related events.

The big one is the annual religious celebration at Sunrise. The other is Algonquin’s version of the Egg Hunt.

Kindergroup Egg Hunt flyerAs I noted in a prior post, Southborough Kindergroup’s free community Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, March 21st at 10:00 am. This year, it’s moving to the outdoor track area next to Trottier Middle School (49 Parkerville Road). The rain date is Sunday, March 22nd. (Though, it’s nice to know they have some extra wiggle room if the weather doesn’t cooperate that weekend.)

Read more about all of the fun they have planned for families here. (And don’t forget to register, to help them organize.)

For the fifth year, Algonquin Regional High School’s National Honor Society will also host a free Easter Egg Hunt. Sometimes the events have conflicted or overlapped. This year, ARHS’ date is scheduled for a full week after Kindergroup’s, on Saturday March 28th from 9:00 – 11:00 am.

The event is open to families from Northborough or Southborough who have children in grade 5 or younger. Bring your basket with you for the hunt. Other fun will include tug-a-war, obstacle course, reading circle, sack races, face painting and more.

Organizers are asking community members to pre-register for the free fun. They are also promoting:

Any donations are encouraged and accepted and all proceeds will go to the Northborough-Southborough food pantries.

UPS Sunrise Easter Service flyer 2026On Sunday, April 5th, Easter morning, the United Parishes of Southborough will hold their annual Easter Sunrise Service. (No registration is required to attend.)

The annual service is scheduled for 6:30 am in the Marina area of Hopkinton State Park:

You are invited to join with other members of the Southborough Christian Community in a Celebration of the Resurrection.

If weather forces the event to be moved inside, it will be hosted by The First Community Church at 137 Southville Road.
