I just realized that SHAC isn’t the only venue hosting an opening reception for an art exhibit a week from Saturday. The downtown art studio, Apothecary Artists will celebrate the opening of a solo exhibit of works by Leonard Gerwick.
The good news is that the overlapped timing for the two events does allow art lovers to enjoy both.
The community is invited to Gerwick’s opening reception from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Saturday, March 21st. It will be held in the gallery at 11 Main Street.
Gerwick is a painter from Marlborough. The gallery promotes:
Len has been an artist for over 25 years. He was born in New York City and grew up in the Bronx. He studied art at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and earned a BFA. Later, Len earned an M.A. in Art History at the University of Toronto in Ontario.
His work spans from figurative to abstract to collage and so much more. It is a feast for all.
