The first day of Southborough & Northborough public schools is just around the corner. Southborough Youth & Family Services is reaching out to families with kids who may be anxious.

The agency announced workshops in time for the start of school, “designed to help students and families feel prepared, connected, and confident”.

SYFS explains:

We know that transitions like starting a new school, advancing to middle or high school, or supporting a child with anxiety can be challenging for families. These programs are designed to give students and caregivers practical tools for a confident start to the year.

For each grade, SYFS is offering a 1½ – 3 hour workshop next week. (Naturally, the sessions for the youngest students are the shortest.)

The first day for students this fall is the following week, on Wednesday, August 28th.

Southborough K-8
