If reading the above section made you hungry for Thanksgiving, you don’t need to wait until next week! Assabet’s culinary students will be dishing out the “all of the season’s favorite savory and sweet dishes” this Thursday, November 20th. (It’s also a chance to sample pumpkin pie and rolls that you may decide to order more of through their bake sale.)
Reservations are required for the $13 Thanksgiving Buffet. And based on their updated flyer, early time slots already filled up. But there are still slots available from 11:45 am – 12:45 pm. (The dining room closes at 1:30 pm.)

The Epi is also open for lunches other days throughout the year, but not on a consistent schedule. You can learn more about it, and find the schedule and a sample regular menu, here.
Assabet Showcase Night
Southborough is one of the seven towns that make up the district for AVRTHS. (Although students who want to attend need to apply for acceptance.)
A week from Thanksgiving, the school is holding its annual “Showcase” on Thursday, December 4th. The event helps show off the school’s college and career pathways.
The evening will showcase the high school’s technical and academic programs. It will feature interactive demos, performances, and admissions info sessions. It’s also a chance to question faculty.
Students and parents are invited to:
Learn more about how Assabet prepares students for both career and college. Come to meet instructors, staff, and administrators. Explore interactive demonstrations.
If you like what you see, you can submit an application that night. (but don’t worry, you can also take your time to decide. Applications aren’t due until January 15th.)
The Showcase runs from 6:00 – 8:30 pm. (This year’s invite didn’t specify, but usually there is an admissions info session in the auditorium at 6:15 pm.)
