Information session to talk ‘green communities’ on January 19

In 2008 Massachusetts passed the Green Communities Act. It’s legislation that encourages municipalities to adopt clean energy practices in exchange for increased local aid. Since then, more than 80 cities and towns in the state have been designated Green Communities. Southborough’s Green Technology and Recycling Committee thinks our town should consider becoming one of them. Regional planning group to talk economic development, open space, and transportation

The 495/MetroWest Development Compact will hold two presentations this month on regional economic development, open space, and transportation planning in its 37 member communities located along the 495 corridor and in Metrowest.
