National Grid Forum on Transmission Line Refurbishment — Thursday, November 6 (Updated)

A transmission line that runs through Southborough is scheduled for an upgrading with some poles 20ft higher than the current ones. The electric company is holding a forum for the public to ask questions.

Petitioners seeking help protecting immigration status of a Ukrainian family in Southborough

Look for petitioners seeking signatures at the Transfer Station on Saturday morning, and outside Town Meeting before it opens on Monday night.

Two years ago, I wrote about a family from Odessa Ukraine taking refuge in Southborough. Now, community members who helped support getting the family settled here are asking the public to sign a petition to help their efforts to get the family’s visas renewed. Rescheduled Pumpkin Stroll — Sunday (Updated)

Contribute or just enjoy jack o'lanterns by the Old Burial Ground on October 26th.

Heritage Day’s Nor’Easter prompted the cancellation of Southborough Rotary’s annual Pumpkin Stroll. Thanks to a partnership with The Friends of the Southborough Library, a rain date has been scheduled for the event.

One-Day Rec After School Programs

Southborough Rec is offering a series of one-day programs, including previews for future sessions of weekly RAPs.

Southborough Recreation is trying something new this fall. The department has organized a series of after school programs that allow kids to sign up for just one afternoon of fun.
