The Metrowest Daily News reported this morning that they have yet to receive copies of the legal bills they requested related to the Southborough Eight investigation. By law the town had until the end of last week to comply with MWDN’s Freedom of Information Act request, or provide a reason why they couldn’t. Who knows if it’s our proximity to the starting line in Hopkinton, or all the 5K runs we hold in town that serve as training opportunities, but per capita, Southborough had more residents run the Boston Marathon this year than almost any other town in Massachusetts. Students are collecting empty drink pouches – think Caprisun and the like – and sending them to New Jersey-based TerraCycle to be made into useful items like backpacks.
