Annual town report and town meeting warrant posted

Town meeting opens two weeks from tonight. Those of you wanting to get a preview of all of the articles up for vote can now download a copy of the warrant — along with the annual town report — from the town’s website. You can also pick up hard copies of both at the Town House, Library, and other spots around town.

In the warrant you’ll find copies of all the proposed town budgets, along with articles covering capital requests like DPW equipment, school technology, renovations to Cordaville Hall (aka the Senior Center), and more.

There are also a couple of bylaw changes on the warrant this year. One of them seeks to give the town some control over when police details are used instead of civilian flaggers, as opposed to the state having sole control. I have to admit that I haven’t heard much discussion about this one, but I’ll try to find out more before town meeting on April 12.
