Here’s the type of story you never want to hear. A 23-year-old Southborough man is charged with attacking his mother in Westborough over the weekend. The man is autistic and a judge ordered him sent to Worcester State Hospital to determine if he is competent to stand trial.
The mother was said to have sustained serious head injuries, but her current condition is unknown.
