Southborough police logs (3/4/12 – 3/5/12): Fireworks and barking dogs

Sunday, March 4, 2012

  • 4:56 am – Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Framingham Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 6:28 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at Neary Elementary School on Parkerville Road.
  • 9:25 am – Officers took a report of harassing phone calls from a Wyndemere Drive resident. The incident was followed up with an investigation by the responding officer.
  • 1:02 pm – A medical was reported at a North Street residence.
  • 2:32 pm – Officers assisted a motorist that was locked out of their vehicle on Main Street. Ted’s Towing responded to the scene, and was able to unlock the vehicle for the individual.
  • 3:15 pm – Officers investigated an incident of harassment from a Boston Road resident.

Monday, March 5, 2012

  • 6:53 am – A motorist reported that the lights on Southville Road were not functioning. The DPW was contacted, and soon responded to the scene to reset the lights.
  • 7:33 am – A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 7:38 am – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Southville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 8:28 am – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Marlboro Road.
  • 9:07 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Angelica Lane residence.
  • 9:36 am – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of a Turnpike Road business. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 10:44 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
  • 1:55 pm – Officers investigated a report of a suspicious red mini-van in the area of Northboro Road and Fisher Road. The vehicle had left the area prior to the officers arrival, but was later located in Marlborough. Marlborough PD was advised and spoke with the operator.
  • 4:09 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Beechwood Lane residence.
  • 4:47 pm – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 6:01 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Gilmore Road residence.
  • 6:38 pm – Officers responded to Darlene Drive for a report of a suspicious motor vehicle in the area. The vehicle had left the area, but a resident was able to get a license plate of the vehicle. A follow-up investigation is being conducted by the responding officer.
  • 9:05 pm – Officers investigated a report of fireworks in the area of Ledge Hill Road. The responding officer was unable to locate anything suspicious in the area.
  • 9:29 pm – Officers investigated a report of a barking dog at a Deerfoot Road residence. The responding officer did not hear the barking dog, and the Animal Control Officer was notified of the incident.
