Girl Scouts collecting items for Hopkinton animal shelter

by susan on March 9, 2012

Southborough Girl Scout Troop 77103 is sponsoring a drive to aid our furry friends at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. The girls are collecting supplies like used towels, blankets, and sheets, along with necessities like dog food.

You can help by dropping off donations in the marked box in the Trottier Middle School lobby. Here’s a list of what they need:

  • Sheets and towels (used are great!)
  • Blankets (used are great, but no batting please)
  • Canned dog and cat food
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Dog toys and dog biscuits
  • Soft catnip toys

Items will be collected through March 16.

Spring is coming and is a great time to clean your closets of those old sheets,
towels and blankets! The animal shelter will make good use of them!

If anyone would like to donate but does not have a child at Trottier, please
feel free to contact me and I would be more than happy to pick up any items
at your home. We appreciate your help!
